A few weeks ago, myself and my boyfriend spent our first anniversary in Amsterdam. Unfortunately I accidentally left my iPhone 6s in Belfast (typical!) – But, on the bright side, this meant that I took a lot of photos on my Panasonic Lumix. So I thought it would be nice to share these photos with you in a travel blog!
These pictures were taken during our first two days in Amsterdam. On the evening which we arrived, we embarked on an evening cruise; touring the canals, whilst drinking Prosecco. We had officially reached the ‘one year’ mark at midnight, so this was a more romantic way to celebrate the occasion.
The next morning, we visited the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. It was incredibly interesting to view classic works from Rembrandt and Vincent Van Gogh; however, photographs weren’t permitted in the Van Gogh Museum. We also took a few obligatory photos at the famous I Amsterdam Letters at Museumplein – because, why not?
