Hello everybody – I’m back with another fashion post (and I know it has been a while). As we blow Summer a goodnight kiss, the brisker season of Autumn is a welcoming site for me. It’s not a secret that this is my favourite time of year: I love the layering of garments, woolly jumpers, oversized scarves and black leather gloves. I also love the winter-berry hues and plum tones which are so inviting on a cold night. So when I type a clothing site into my search engine and am greeted by a flashing ‘Autumn/Winter 2015 Has Arrived’ display, I become both elevated and excited.
Keeping to my traditions, I’ve found myself admiring Little Mistress‘ selection of seasonal coats and jackets once again. And since I continually returning to this brand on several occasions, I decided to partner up with them for one or two posts.
I was admiring the two-toned and multi-textured qualities of this particular coat, so I had to add it to my shopping cart. This coat is everything I love about Autumn – the colours, the cosiness and the comfort. On a recent trip to Victoria Square shopping centre, I was stopped three times by three different ladies with the similar remarks, “Your coat is amazing”, “I absolutely adore that!”, “May I ask where you got?” And pairing it with my Rimmel 107 lipstick is a match made in heaven – excuse the cliché.
I also continuously admire New Look’s selection of shoes and accessories. Whenever I am on the hunt for a few details to accent a look, they never fail me. And for just £27.99, these beautiful brogue boots are going to be a wardrobe staple of mine this year.
I’m also layering thick jumpers over blouses a lot recently. I think it’s a simple yet classic pairing, adding a crisp touch to an outfit. And lastly, I spotted these gorgeous leather gloves with a fur pom-pom in River Island and, well, it would have been bold of me not to bring them home.
