Spring. Summer. 2018. How is it this time already? Does it not feel like an hour ago we were preparing to celebrate the new year? Now, we’re almost closing in on Easter – and it seems that time is catapulting past us at an unthinkable speed. For me, I’m beginning to come to terms with how much my life will possibly change in the next upcoming months: My university deadlines are looming next month; after which I’ll be searching for and purchasing my graduation dress; then I’ll be searching for graduate employment and internships. I feel that when Spring began, I was only too eager for the season to finish so that I could progress onto the next stage. But now that Spring is ending, I’m scared about it. Why do we always have to be careful what we wish for?

But, enough of my ramblings. I know it’s been a hot-minute since I last posted. Since I’ve been focusing on my studies and other projects – blogging seems to have gone on the ‘back burner’. However, I’m back now. And I’m doing it with another collaboration with DV8 Fashion. Since my previous collaboration with this brand was such a success, when the opportunity came to collaborate again I thought, “This is the perfect way to reintroduce myself to my blog!” And so, here I am! I decided to opt for all-black with pops of red to my outfit. DV8 had such a grand selection on their “new in site”, but once I spotted these trousers the rest of the ensemble seemed to fall into place for me.
