I struggle to think of things that I dislike about Autumn. The cold weather? Hmm, perhaps. But the many elements which I adore about the Autumn season greatly engulf that less-substantial negative, rather like a typhoon. I love the orange-yellow-plum colours of the leaves. I love wearing fedora hats with matching gloves. I love pumpkin-spice lattes (to go, please). I love the crisp-air sharpening my stride as I walk my dog. I love all that spooky-stuff at Halloween. But, most importantly, I love the fashion.
All I can say is that Autumn fashion speaks to me, kind of like a heroic Shakespeare lover. Except rather than calling him Romeo, I call him, “Scarves-and-hats-and-gloves-and-coats-and-jumpers? Yes, please!” But not only is it the physical garments which I swoon over; it’s the colours. Just like the Autumn leaves I mentioned before. Greens, yellows, tans, reds, plums… These colours compliment me so well. And I know I’m not the only one that falls for them – pun unintended.
This year, I’ve shopped more than I can tell you… Or at least, without you sincerely judging me. And boy, have I found some lovely pieces! In the past two months, the stores which have consistently made me check my bank-balance after visiting are Stradivarius, ASOS, ZARA, and H&M. So far, I think they’ve been nailing the Autumn fashion game. In light of this, I’ve decided to share my absolute favourite pieces with you. These include clothes, shoes and accessories. They’re the items I recommend the most, and are well worth the money.
