This July, half a million people flocked to Belfast’s Titanic Quarter to catch a glimpse of the forty-six grand vessels that had paid a visit to our docks. And out of those thousands of spectators, I was one. Indeed, my boyfriend and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy something both different and new together in the city. And being a fashion blogger who is continuously on the hunt for exciting new scenes to shoot photos, I decided to ‘kill-two-birds-with-one-stone’ so as to say.
As it happens, the act of deciding what to wear at this event was very simple to me. I had recently received these adorable stripe-print cuffed shorts and petite sail-boat studs from a newly found outlet of mine, The Shopping Bag! With the nautical presence of these two pieces, I had the perfect basis to pair an outfit together. I decided to opt for a more simple and sweet style; adding a pair of sandals and loose blouse for the occassion. And seeing as it is summer, it would have almost been a criminal offence to not wear a straw hat to a band of ships!
I hope you enjoy this more understated and casual style, as I understand that many of you had been requesting it. And to say a warm and genuine thank you for being such devoted followers of mine, I decided to grab a discount to The Shopping Bag for you!
