Dreams Taste Like Cotton Candy

Kathryns Katwalk - Dreams Taste Like Cotton Candy 3Little Mistress, you have done it again. With Spring time raising it’s head on the horizon, and Winter’s cool chill still wrapped around our necks; I have found myself on the savage hunt for a cosy coat that can translate between both of these sisters of the year. Pretty pastels have been the new colour craze for coats this season, and I was quick to hop on this trend train. With a wistful woollen fabric and the two-toning of candy-floss pink, paired with black (which you may expect from a bag of Bassett’s Liquorice Allsorts), this coat is everything I could have asked for… And then some. It seems that Little Mistress’ coats are going to consume my closet this year. Bravo, Little Mistress, bravo.

Furthermore, an essential shoe staple that I have been craving for a why-didn’t-I-get-this-sooner amount of time, are knee-high boots. The reason why I have delayed purchasing a pair until now? The incredibly large price tags that have been attached to every pair that I have been lured towards. However, Dorothy Perkins has found a solution to this little problem with these black leather beauties. As soon as I spotted them, I almost instantly hovered my laptop’s arrow over the ‘add to bag’ button. And for being on sale at a sensational price of £30; quite frankly, it would have been rude not to.

Next up, are these fabulous fur collars that River Island have been stocking. Detachable; practical; and available in a different range of colours – This is a very versatile accessory. I then matched the grey tones of this piece with a pair of high-waisted jeans from Boohoo.com. These jeans are your answer to the 90’s ‘worn and torn’ trend, at just a fraction of the price demand. Considering that these are also possibly the most comfortable jeans I think I have ever worn, I may just catch myself buying more Boohoo jeans in the future.

Without further ado, this is where I’m going to end. Expect lots of new and exciting posts to arrive on KathrynsKatwalk.com, because I’m buzzing with plenty of new ideas!

See you all soon.

X
